About Us

Kwasi Etu-Bonde is an Agribusiness and Rural DevelopmentConsultant operating under the trade name Sustenance Agro Ventures (SAVE). As an Agribusiness Entrepreneur, he owns and manages a farm and an agribusiness centre named SKY-3 Farms and SKY-3 Agribusiness Centre respectively in Kintampo Municipality that employs over 50 workers.


Kwasi Etu-Bonde holds Executive Masters in Business Administration from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), 2004 with Entrepreneurship Development and Managing SMEs as optional area. B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture (Crop Science Major) from University of Ghana -Legon, 1996.  After the B. Sc. Programme, he did a two -year extensive Graduate Management Development Programme in Agribusiness,Value Chain, Contract Farming Management and Rural Development organised by British American Tobacco Plc. UK worldwide, dubbed the “CHALLENGE INITIATIVE” 1997 to 1999. He
also participated in six months Post -graduate Farm Management Training in Commercial Horticulture Production and Export Management organised by AMEX International Inc. (under USAID) during the USAID/GoG Ghana Trade & Investment Programme(TIP) implementation. He is a certified Global GAP Internal Auditor and certified Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) Technical Service Provider (TSP)



With regards to work experience, he has over nine teen (19) years well rich experience in Agribusiness, Agriculture and Rural Development Management and Consultancy under his sleeves. Such as:


i. As Agribusiness and Rural Dev’t Manager for British American Tobacco: 1997 to 2006.

ii. As Agribusiness Lecture at Methodist University College Ghana (MUCG): 2007 to 2010, and a Tutor
at Goatifi L/A JSS in the Asufi District in Brong Ahafo 1991 to 1992.

iii. As Agribusiness and Rural Dev’t Consultant for MoFA-RTIMP, MGCSP-LEAP, GIZ - MOAP, MiDA, The Wold Bank, Netherlands Organisation for Science and Research for Global Development, International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Africa Development Bank among others: 2007 to date.

iv. Kwasi as Agribusiness Consultant prepared, presented and defended the feasibility study to revamp Ejura Farms to the then Vice President and now President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama in Osu Castle on 28th January, 2009 in the company of Mr. P. Y. Debrah formerly of Ejura Farms
now in Kintampo township free of charge.

Etu-Bonde is a Steering Committee/Board Member for Northern Rural Growth Program (NRGP) and Ghana Agricultural Sector Investment Programme (GASIP). He also represents Brong Ahafo farmers
on National Farmers and Fishermen Award Winners Association of Ghana (NFFAWAG) National Steering Committee.

i.“Sustainable Agriculture for Development Finalist” at the 2008 Global Development Marketplace Competitionby the World Bank in Washington D.C.
 
ii.“International Europe Award for Quality-2013” by the Global Trade Leaders in Paris.
 
iii. “National Best Mango Farmer -2011”by Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
 
iv. “Regional Best Mango Farmer - 2008” by Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
 
v. “Overall Municipal Best Farmer for KiMA -2012” by Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
